Marathi Shala Session Recap Feb15– Focused Learning & Fun Activities

Today’s Marathi Shala session was filled with learning, creativity, and interactive activities! We had a great turnout with 31 kids in Batch 1 and 16 kids in Batch 2, making a total of 47 enthusiastic learners.

Introducing Focused Group Learning

From last week onwards, we have implemented focused group teaching to provide personalized learning experiences based on each child's capabilities. In Batch 1, we now have five different focused groups, ensuring that our young learners receive the right guidance at their pace.

Batch 1 - Group 1 Highlights

• Started writing basic strokes: standing, sleeping, and half circles.
• Practiced Swar using flashcards.
• Listened to a story about helping a friend, reinforcing moral values.
• Introduced Vyanjan letters (क, ख, ग).
• Kids got creative by drawing hearts and making heart cards for parents as a fun activity.

Batch 1 - Group 2 Highlights

• Began with a warm-up yoga session followed by Ganesha Aarti.
• Focused learning groups:
  • Some kids practiced word and small sentence formation.
  • Others worked on Swar and Vyanjan reading & writing.
• Wrapped up with a friendship story and attendance.
• Homework: Complete Swar and Vyanjan writing practice and revise words learned.

Batch 2 Highlights

• Focused groups worked on:
  • Learning new words and writing sentences.
  • Practicing Swar and Vyanjan reading & writing.
• Concluded with a word game based on friendship words, where kids were divided into four groups.
• Kids thoroughly enjoyed the activity while learning new words!
• Homework: Repeat today’s learning and practice writing.

A Day of Learning & Bonding

It was heartwarming to see kids engage in learning, work together on activities, and improve their Marathi language skills. Thank you to all the teachers and volunteers for making this session successful! Looking forward to another fun-filled Shala session next week! 🙌📖✨
